Artist statement
When art with universal themes express stories that are in line with human life, we can see the moment when they collide with various social and environmental problems that actually occur.
When they overlap as multiple layers, you can see the moment when one point or gesture jumps over layers so that it crosses space-time, or passes through time, land, race, or background.
It is a characteristic and function of Tennosuke’s expression to clearly capture and express that emotional moment.
普遍的な主題を持つ芸術が人類の生活に即したストーリーを表現するとき、現実に起こる様々な社会問題や環境問題と激突する瞬間を確認することができる。
それらが複層として重なり合ったとき、1つの点や仕草が時空を超えるようにレイヤーを飛び越える、または時間や土地、人種、バックグラウンドを通過する瞬間を確認することができる。
そのエモーショナルとも言える瞬間をはっきりと捉えて表現することが、天之介の表現の特徴であり、機能である。
